The artist known as D4vd has been named as a person of interest in the death of Celeste Rivas, a teenager who disappeared and was later discovered deceased inside the artist's Tesla car in September, according to law enforcement.

Location of the Deceased

The decayed body of Rivas, 15, was found in the fall inside the frunk of a black Tesla registered to D4vd, whose actual name is David Anthony Burke. The vehicle had been cited in a Hollywood area and then impounded at a tow yard in Los Angeles.

Timeline of Events

Authorities suspect that Rivas likely passed away in the spring, stating that D4vd had probably helped in dismantling and getting rid of the body. The artist has been uncooperative in the investigation, as stated by a law enforcement source.

This adolescent Rivas was originally noted as disappeared from Lake Elsinore in last April. The body was subsequently found in the artist's Tesla after workers at Hollywood Tow reported a powerful odor emanating from the vehicle.

This cause of death has yet to be ascertained, but the coroner's office stated that Rivas seems to have been dead inside the automobile for an extended period before being found.” Police are viewing her passing as a suspicious death.

Background on the Singer

This Texas-based singer had been issued a citation in the Hollywood area just 11 days before Rivas was discovered in the automobile, after overstaying the short-term parking limit. Neighbors in the Hollywood Hills mentioned that the Tesla had been stationed in the vicinity for several weeks.

The victim's family member revealed that the household was knowledgeable that Rivas was acquainted with the musician and that she was traveling to watch a film with him just before she disappeared.

D4vd, referred to as “David,” is a NY-native artist known for the hits “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me.” He and his manager were living at a LA residence in the Hollywood area in the fall, according to the home's proprietor, until authorities investigated the property.

D4vd has partnered with Darkroom and Interscope. D4vd was engaged in a concert series at the time Rivas's body were located, but called off those performances after the location of Rivas's corpse.
